About The Position

MTSI is seeking a Senior Acquisition Program Manager to support AFLCMC/WA at Wright‑Patterson AFB, Ohio, within the Integrated Capabilities Team (ICT) focused on Software, Compute, and Autonomy Technologies. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive acquisition and program management support to a horizontally integrated team responsible for planning, coordinating, and synchronizing software‑enabled capabilities, advanced computing architectures, and autonomous technologies across multiple platforms and modernization efforts. This role supports new and ongoing AFLCMC/WA Fighters and Advanced Aircraft enterprise initiatives and requires active engagement throughout the full acquisition lifecycle. Responsibilities include program planning, requirements development, schedule and risk management, cross‑platform coordination, test and evaluation planning, configuration management oversight, software development oversight, quality assurance coordination, and sustainment and logistics tracking for digital and autonomy‑related systems. Candidates must demonstrate strong skills in integrating activities across diverse platforms, mission areas, and stakeholder organizations. The position requires applying sound acquisition and program management principles in an enterprise environment that emphasizes horizontal integration and mission‑thread capability development rather than traditional platform‑specific approaches. Preferred candidates will have a strong understanding of the DoW acquisition process and familiarity with AFLCMC/WA enterprise initiatives related to digital modernization, software‑based capability development, distributed compute upgrades, and autonomy integration. The role requires the ability to independently manage complex program tasks, drive enterprise‑level coordination, and support the development, maturation, and fielding of integrated software, compute, and autonomy capabilities. Experience supporting cross‑cutting acquisition efforts or enterprise‑level modernization activities is highly desirable.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of relevant Department of War (DoW) experience.
At least three years of experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment within the past eight years.
Must possess an active DoD Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

Apply acquisition and analytical expertise to support program managers and stakeholders developing and integrating software, compute, and autonomy technologies across multiple aircraft and mission systems.
Use integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning skills to guide technical and acquisition activities across diverse functional disciplines, ensuring effective delivery and sustainment of USAF software‑enabled and autonomy‑driven capabilities.
Identify issues and develop solutions that enhance acquisition effectiveness, cross‑platform interoperability, and compliance within enterprise‑level software, compute, and autonomy modernization efforts.
Develop and produce high‑quality acquisition documentation tailored to multi‑platform software architectures, computing upgrades, and autonomy capability development.
Interpret department and center digital transformation strategies and tailor implementation to the needs of software, compute, and autonomy programs and portfolios.
Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate program management activities that synchronize multi‑platform software development, compute integration, and autonomy capability advancement.
Lead and support program and project integration efforts related to cross‑cutting software, compute, and autonomy technologies.
Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that capture interdependencies across platforms, software baselines, computing frameworks, and autonomy development efforts.
Apply program management and systems engineering expertise to address challenges related to software integration, compute architecture modernization, and autonomy deployment, advising project leads and engineers on acquisition considerations and technical impacts.
Advise program leadership on strategic planning for the development, demonstration, and fielding of integrated software, compute, and autonomy capabilities.
Provide oversight and coordination for program information assurance activities associated with classified networks supporting software‑centric and autonomy‑related modernization.
Support program leadership during major reviews, inspections, conferences, evaluations, and milestone events associated with enterprise software, compute, and autonomy initiatives.
Manage interactions and cultivate strong relationships between the program office, supporting government organizations, platform program offices, contractors, and higher headquarters to ensure alignment of software, compute, and autonomy activities across the enterprise.
