About The Position

As an Acquisition PM Support, you will provide direct support to a Department of Defense customer in research, engineering, prototyping, development, rapid acquisition, and project execution. You will identify emerging capabilities, organize studies, and help deliver advanced capabilities to the warfighter. The position partners with a broad DAF team to scope and acquire capability solutions, communicate technical problems and solutions to senior DoD leadership, and support the customer as a trusted strategic partner.

Requirements

At least 10 years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) work experience, including at least two total years of experience in a SAP environment.
Working knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and DoD Science and Technology agencies.
Knowledge of DoD Programming and Budgeting processes.
Knowledge and expertise with MS Office products.
Strong communication skills, including authoring documents and briefings and conveying complex concepts through writing, diagrams, or briefings.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Current/active Top Secret/SCI clearance and current or recent DoD SAP access.
Must be subject to a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and expertise of DoD or service headquarters-level policy, staffing processes, and organizational responsibilities.
Master’s degree, preferably in a related field.

Responsibilities

Support the broad DAF team in scoping and acquiring capability solutions.
Communicate highly technical problems and solutions from engineers to senior DoD leadership.
Explore and understand state-of-the-art technical developments and emerging technologies.
Organize team meetings and conferences, and document outcomes and actions.
Work as a trusted strategic partner with the customer and solve their problems on a daily basis.
