About The Position

KaiHonua LLC has an immediate opening for Acquisition Management Support III for our rapidly growing team. The Acquisition Management Support personnel provides acquisition and contract management support to Program Manager Warfare (PMW) 120 assisting government leadership in the planning, execution, and oversight of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs. The position supports program offices throughout the acquisition lifecycle, ensuring compliance with DoD, Department of the Navy (DON), and PEO C4I policies, procedures, and directives. The successful candidate will provide analytical, administrative, and acquisition support services related to program planning, acquisition strategy development, procurement actions, milestone preparation, contract management, and program execution. The individual will work closely with government program managers, contracting officers, financial managers, and technical teams to support mission objectives.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience supporting DoD or Navy preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Acquisition Management, Program Management or Finance preferred
  • Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
  • May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds, as necessary.
  • Position requires a Secret security clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical reviews
  • Create, maintain, and update acquisition and milestone decision documentation
  • Implement and maintain a Risk Management Program
  • Prepare deliverables such as reports, briefings, and product visuals for assigned projects and programs
  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that cost, performance, and schedule objectives are met
  • Analyze project and program-related problems and propose innovative solutions to address them
  • Develop project and program plans that support cost, schedule, and performance
  • Support acquisition planning and execution activities
  • Assist in the development, coordination, review, and maintenance of acquisition documentation
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for acquisition milestone reviews and decision events
  • Track and monitor procurement actions through the acquisition lifecycle
  • Coordinate with contracting offices to support solicitation development, proposal evaluations, contract awards, and contract modifications
  • Maintain contract action trackers and status reports
  • Review procurement documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
