About The Position

PolyCon Solutions seeks a full-time Acquisition Analyst to support our prime contractor and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) client on-site at FAA Headquarters in Washington, DC. The position will support FAA's Office of Aviation Policy and Plans (APL-11) and the new ASE organization.

Requirements

  • Ability to commute to FAA Headquarters, 800 Independence Avenue SW, Washington, D.C. 20024
  • Experience developing, drafting, or updating Statements of Work (SOWs) and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) supporting procurement or acquisition activities supporting the federal government.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing procurement packages and supporting documentation.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to track financial and budget-related information.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools, including Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass FAA security screening for positions of Public Trust.

  • Experience supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and using its Acquisition Management System (AMS)
  • Knowledge or experience in finance and/or budget operations

Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement process for Grants, Interagency Agreements (IAAs), Contracts, and Reimbursables.
  • Support acquisition planning activities, including market research, acquisition strategy documentation, and coordination with program stakeholders.
  • Monitor procurement milestones, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely execution of acquisition activities.
  • Review procurement documentation for compliance with federal acquisition policies, FAA procedures, and program requirements.
  • Track and analyze financial and budget operations.
  • Work with team leads and management to streamline procurement and business processes.
  • Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
  • Develop and maintain reports and other procurement-related documentation.
  • Develop, draft, and update Statements of Work (SOWs) and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
  • Ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate for procurement packages.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to support timely and compliant procurement activities.
