About The Position

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking an Acquisition Analyst in Huntsville. The position performs duties in various areas of acquisition management, covering procedural and technical aspects involving the methods, procedures, principles, theories, and techniques used in the acquisition program area. The analyst provides acquisition advice to functional area technical experts on contractual matters, based on a working knowledge of acquisition regulations and policy. The analyst works as an independent member of the acquisition workforce in the planning and contracting functional areas. The role involves assessing and reporting on program operations and objectives, evaluating changes and recommending solutions, developing support strategies, researching source documents, and analyzing information and data to assess program, project, and process progress. The analyst also gathers and coordinates documents and requirements, reviews contract requirement package documents, provides feedback to Government Project Leads to clarify requirements, and communicates and coordinates with Government Project Leads in support of the organization.

Requirements

Secret clearance required.
Bachelor's degree.
A minimum of 17 years of experience.
25% travel required.
Working knowledge of acquisition regulations and policy.

Responsibilities

Work as an independent member of the acquisition workforce in the planning and contracting functional areas.
Conduct assessments and prepare reports for Government officials regarding program operations and objectives.
Evaluate changes and recommend solutions to problems discovered through analysis.
Develop support strategies and research source documents.
Analyze information and data to assess the progress of programs, projects, and processes.
Gather and coordinate documents and requirements.
Review and analyze documents associated with contract requirement packages and provide feedback to Government Project Leads to clarify requirements.
Communicate and coordinate with Government Project Leads in support of the organization.
Provide acquisition advice to functional area technical experts on contractual matters based on a working knowledge of acquisition regulations and policy.
