Requirements

• BS or BA degree in related field
• Minimum 12 years related experience
• Knowledge of contracting concepts, FAR, DFAR, and agency supplements
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office products
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Responsibilities

• Provides acquisition and contracting expertise in the development of contract requirement packages, including Justification and Approval (J&A) documents, Statements of Impact (SOI), acquisition strategies, and acquisition plans.
• Provides support in developing and revising contract strategies, requirement documentation, and program schedules.
• Tracks program status; evaluates operational and technical alternatives; and conducts risk assessments.
• Prepares requests for proposals, contract modifications, administrative changes, and routine correspondence to support timely contracting actions.
• Reviews solicitations and prepares responses to support contracting execution.
• Analyzes contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, agency policies, and organizational procedures.
• Coordinates with Government personnel, contracting offices, and Army acquisition stakeholders to ensure acquisition documentation is complete, accurate, and ready to support critical program milestones.
• Supports contract review, approval, administration, and closeout activities in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and applicable agency supplements.
• Maintains contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance and conducts research to support contract audits and identify contracting trends.
