We are a multidisciplinary consulting firm seeking an experienced professional with strong technical expertise in sound modeling and acoustic studies. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience, a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to work directly with agencies and clients. Experience supporting a variety of business sectors is preferred.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sound modeling, acoustics, or environmental noise analysis
  • Proficiency with industry standard noise modeling software (e.g., SoundPLAN, CadnaA, )
  • Strong understanding of environmental noise regulations and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with acoustic requirements of Federal, state, local agencies
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Experience working with agencies and clients in a consulting environment
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Candidates must be based in the United States and must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Engineering degree preferred (or equivalent technical background)
  • Experience with GIS tools (ArcGIS or QGIS) is a plus
  • Experience supporting a variety of business sectors is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform sound modeling, noise impact assessments, and acoustic studies across a range of project types and industries
  • Conduct field noise measurements and operate sound level meters and related equipment
  • Interpret and assess compliance with federal, state, and local sound regulations
  • Prepare clear, well structured technical reports, analyses, and client presentations
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, and internal project teams
  • Support and help grow business development efforts
  • Assist with task management, scheduling, and project coordination
