About The Position

Position Overview: The ACH (Automated Clearing House) Processing Analyst position is an entry-level position that processes various requests involving ACH transactions. They will learn how to navigate within our ACH processing software, PEP+ to assist branch, Member Services Support, and operations employees, along with members, and outside originators with ACH processing and research. They will collaborate with other departments and branches/Member Services Support in processing ACH returns and balancing the ACH system and associated General Ledger accounts.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED Required
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to cooperate and collaborate with coworkers and various levels of leadership and be cordial and professional in all interactions with members and coworkers in both on-site and remote work settings.
  • Must be willing to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Must adhere to the work schedule and attendance policy established by manager.
  • Should have experience working with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Sitting for prolonged periods
  • Telephone for prolonged periods
  • Computer for prolonged periods

Responsibilities

  • Work rejected ACH credits in incoming files from the Federal Reserve Bank and internal departments.
  • Prepare tickets and key manual returns of ACH debits/credits per BMC Helix IT Service Management or Originating Depository Financial Institution requests.
  • Process and respond to Member Access messages directly from members regarding ACH disputes.
  • Work 10-7 shift – consolidation of daily tickets and processing of Another Chance returns.
