As the Ace Hardware Inside Floor Manager, your day begins by helping create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued the moment they walk through the door. Throughout the day, you'll balance customer service, team support, problem-solving, operational oversight, and leadership responsibilities while ensuring that daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. You'll attend training opportunities, champion safety initiatives, communicate positively about Flagler Cooperative Association, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and customer experiences. Whether you're helping a customer find the perfect solution, guiding employees through challenges, organizing priorities, or maintaining a positive store atmosphere, your leadership will directly contribute to the success of both the location and the community it serves.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree (AA) from a two-year college or technical school OR Six months to one year of related experience and/or training OR An equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to attend required meetings and training sessions, including annual safety training
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to positively represent Flagler Cooperative Association
  • Dedication to continuous quality improvement
  • Ability to uphold company policies and procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
