About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Accumulator/Closing Unit Technician to join our team in Odessa, TX. This role involves performing a variety of mechanical and technical tasks in the shop, warehouse, and field. The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulic systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

3–5 years of relevant work experience in a mechanical or technical role.
Willingness to travel up to 40% for field service work.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Nice To Haves

Technical training in hydraulics, mechanics, or electrical/electronics.
Experience as a shop or field technician in the oil and gas industry.
Welding experience.
Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting.
Familiarity with accumulator and closing unit maintenance.

Responsibilities

Inspect, rebuild, operate, test, and troubleshoot accumulator and closing unit equipment.
Monitor and evaluate equipment performance; recommend adjustments to improve quality and efficiency.
Operate machinery and tools in accordance with OEM guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Complete accurate records and documentation related to inspections and repairs.
Paint and prepare equipment for deployment or storage.
Perform general housekeeping and maintenance of shop areas and company vehicles.
Operate heavy machinery when certified.
Travel to field locations (up to 40%) for equipment service and repair.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
