About The Position

Lake Havasu City Police Department is seeking an Accreditation Specialist to manage and maintain the department's Arizona Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP) accreditation. This role involves ensuring policies are current and compliant, coordinating audits and assessments, tracking standards, conducting quality assurance reviews, researching best practices, preparing reports, and assisting with administrative investigations. The position offers a flexible employment opportunity, available as either full-time or part-time, and works closely with command staff to shape the department's future.

Requirements

Associate’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
3-5 years of experience in law enforcement administrative experience
Valid Driver's License
ALEAP Accreditation Manager Training (required upon hire)
Ability to pass an extensive background investigation.
