About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will support a high-volume AR function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for daily invoicing, cash application, customer communications, and collections activity while maintaining accurate records within the ERP system.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Accounts Receivable experience in a transactional, deadline-driven environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in manufacturing, inventory-based, or high-volume billing settings strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
  • Strong prioritization and personal accountability skills.
  • Detail-oriented yet efficient with balancing speed and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting temporary coverage or transition roles.
  • Comfort working in lean or understaffed finance teams.
  • Exposure to AR clean-up projects, reconciliations, or audit support.
  • Experience documenting processes or identifying workflow improvements.
  • Familiarity with customer portals, electronic invoicing, or automation tools.
  • Manufacturing ERP exposure beyond core AR functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Send out 20-30 daily manual invoices.
  • Post 200 cash applications per day.
  • Perform payment posting duties.
  • Conduct collections for 5 customers per day.
  • Maintain accurate records within the ERP system.
  • Use customer portals for various AR tasks.
  • Utilize Excel for manual processing, including V-lookups.
  • Engage in professional customer service and communication.
  • Support potential reconciliations and other accounting functions.
