This dynamic role is responsible for managing customer accounts receivable by accurately posting payments, reviewing account balances, and providing support for inquiries from both internal and external customers. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications
  • Strong 10 key/keyboarding skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy while multitasking effectively
  • Must have confidential and ethical conduct
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, or move 10 pounds; occasionally lift, push, or move 25 pounds
  • Ability to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines

Nice To Haves

  • Cash application experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accurately post daily payments to the appropriate customer accounts
  • Research and resolve discrepancies, performing account reconciliations as needed
  • Assist both internal and external customers with account-related inquiries or issues
  • Review tax-exempt forms for accuracy, update customer records, and apply exemptions accordingly
  • Adjust service charges based on research and customer requests
  • Ensure accounts remain balanced and up to date
  • Process and investigate non-sufficient funds (NSF) transactions
  • Handle credit reference requests efficiently
  • Prepare and send customer correspondence as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support department operations
