About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization's accounts receivable. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments from consumers, insurance companies, and other payers. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will work to resolve billing issues, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate records of transactions to ensure financial health and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

High school Diploma (Required)
Experience in Accounts Receivable in Home Infusion or Pharmacy
Solid understanding of healthcare billing practices
Critical Thinking
Works independently, has strong multi-tasking skills
Problem solving skills
Payer Escalation/Recovery

Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day operations of the organization's accounts receivable.
Ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments from consumers, insurance companies, and other payers.
Resolving billing issues.
Reconciling accounts.
Maintaining accurate records of transactions to ensure financial health and compliance with industry standards.
