Part-Time Accounts Receivable Representative
About The Position
Amerisource Business Capital is seeking an organized, energetic, and self-disciplined Accounts Receivable Representative to join their team on a Part-Time basis. Amerisource Business Capital has been providing small and middle market businesses with asset-based lending, outsourced management of accounts receivable, credit support, and collection functions for over 40 years. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working independently, and be comfortable with repetitive tasks. This role involves working four days a week, Monday through Friday, for 25 hours per week, with a start time of 9 am. The position offers the opportunity to work in an office with great colleagues while performing a critical function for the business's operations. Collections experience is a plus but not required. The role requires comfort with making phone calls to clients.
Requirements
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- Self-driven, high energy personality.
- No room for error mentality.
- Excellent computer skills for MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must be okay being on the phone with clients.
Nice To Haves
- Collections experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Calling upon client accounts with past due amounts.
- Making collection calls from a daily call log.
- Creating follow-up call logs and contacting those clients in a timely manner.
- Pulling invoices, printing, scanning, and faxing them to clients when necessary.
- Relieving the front desk receptionist during her lunch break (part of a rotation).
