About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Representative II plays a key role in supporting accurate and timely accounts receivable operations. This position performs financial, administrative, and clerical work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while helping ensure quality, efficiency, and strong service for both internal and external customers. In addition to handling day-to-day responsibilities, this role supports process improvements, helps resolve more complex issues, and serves as a resource for less experienced team members. The individual in this position is expected to demonstrate sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to AmTrust’s mission, values, and service standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of accounts receivable experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment and manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to navigate multiple systems effectively.
  • Experience completing accounts receivable work accurately and consistently.
  • Strong written, verbal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to use scanning equipment and other standard office tools.
  • Ability to work onsite 80% of the time, based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Deliver responsive phone and email support to customers, agents, and internal business partners.
  • Process and balance transactional activity for large or complex client accounts with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with complex billing, payment, and policy dispute issues involving agents, insureds, and underwriters.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and support updates to accounts receivable procedures and practices.
  • Partner with internal departments to investigate discrepancies and bring issues to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Handle escalated matters independently and help drive effective outcomes.
  • Support team operations by serving as a knowledgeable resource for entry-level staff when needed.
  • Remain informed about market conditions, operational changes, and business needs that may affect the work.
  • Perform additional related duties and overtime assignments as business needs require.
