About The Position

TransX Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Receivable Freight Auditor to join the Finance team in our Winnipeg head office. Reporting to the Director of Accounts Receivable and Cash Applications, the Accounts Receivable Freight Auditor is responsible for ensuring receivables are managed timely, and disputes are resolved effectively. Our Mission is to become the industry leader of the driver experience. We consider the driver to be the front line of our company. Our fleet team will be satisfied once our drivers have successfully met their full potential. Requirements

  • High School Diploma – Required
  • 1-3 years’ experience in accounts receivables, auditing, and/or reconciliation – Required
  • Proficient in MS Office suite applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong Time Management skills
  • Effective email management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary Education would be an asset
  • Customer service experience – Preferred
  • Great Plains experience – Preferred
  • Knowledge within transportation industry – Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performing audits to find resolution of dispute
  • Root cause analysis of customer concerns
  • Maintaining relationships with customers as well as team members within the company
  • Ensuring timely collection of payments, with a focus on reducing past terms volume
  • Set objectives for assigned portfolio
  • Escalating non-payment customers to supervisor for resolution
  • Preparations of adjustments for disputes
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts
  • Staying updated on industry and system changes
