Reporting to the Vice President Revenue Cycle for Medical Groups, this position is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of all policies, procedures and processes of revenue cycle functions for Medical Groups affiliated with Prime hospitals. Prime Medical Groups employ or contract with approximately 500 providers (physicians and APPs) across 14 states. This global managerial position will manage a U.S. team as well as teams in our foreign affiliate in India. This position will work with all medical groups to standardize revenue cycle operations, Optimize Revenue Opportunities, and provide strategic guidance to long term Medical Group goals. The AR Director role oversees and manages the large and essential Patient Financial Service division of our large network of hospitals and medical groups, provide critical managerial leadership to ensure consistency and adherence to standardized procedures across multiple facilities’ business offices. This role also involves building and hiring professional team members and managing the team to execute the strategies and processes This role ensures accountability for vendor performance, alignment with system wide financial goals, and adherence to regulatory requirements, while also driving innovations and performance improvements across the Revenue cycle model. This position partners with system leadership, hospital CFOs, and vendors to ensure strong controls, optimal net revenue realization, and a seamless patient financial experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Health Care Administration, or Business Administration preferred or at least 7 years of relevant experience required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of healthcare accounting or office management experience, with Five (5) years in management of billing and collections for a physician practice or medical group.
  • Three (3) years supervisory experience required.
  • Job requires approx. 40% travel to various Medical Groups

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • CPC (Certified Procedural Coder) preferred

  • A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $88,400.00 to $165,360.00 on an annualized basis.
  • The compensation estimate noted above is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
