About The Position
Fraza is seeking an onsite Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its finance team. The role owns the full accounts receivable cycle and works regularly with customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include posting and reconciling payments, managing collections, creating and tracking invoices, maintaining customer accounts, resolving billing disputes, and preparing billing and account-status reports. The successful candidate will provide responsive, professional support to customers with accounts receivable questions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business, or at least 2 years of hands-on accounts receivable or billing experience.
- Solid Excel skills and comfort with the MS Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and a record of accurate, thorough work.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to handle collections calls respectfully.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and independently when appropriate.
- Problem-solving skills and willingness to investigate discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Post and reconcile customer payments, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Collect past-due balances by contacting customers professionally and working to resolve accounts while maintaining customer relationships.
- Create, submit, and track customer invoices, including invoices submitted through online portals.
- Manage customer accounts from setup through ongoing maintenance, including address updates, mergers, and billing contacts.
- Research and resolve disputed invoices and billing discrepancies with a customer-first approach.
- Generate and maintain a monthly consolidated billing report for select accounts.
- Prepare weekly billing statements and current account-status reports.
- Respond to customer questions about accounts receivable in a responsive, professional, and solutions-oriented manner.
