About The Position
Our manufacturing client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to support daily AR operations and cash application activities. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate customer accounts, assisting with collections efforts, and supporting accounting operations within a growing manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or general accounting experience
- Experience with billing, cash applications, and reconciliations
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite in Fort Mill, VA
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- ERP system experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Process customer invoices and apply cash receipts
- Monitor customer accounts and aging reports
- Assist with collections and customer account follow up
- Reconcile AR balances and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain accurate customer billing records
- Support month end close and reporting activities
- Partner with internal teams regarding billing and payment issues
- Prepare and maintain AR related reports
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and controls
