About The Position

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Payable, with some experience in bank reconciliations and general accounting knowledge. This role involves handling a high volume of AP processing and working directly with property managers to assist with AP and additional accounting needs.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting functions and AP processes.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of high-volume AP processing experience in a multi-entity setting.
• Basic Excel skills, including uploading sheets and linking cells.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work with urgency.
• Experience with banking and bank reconciliations.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree preferred, but not required.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Handle full cycle AP functions for a specific portfolio with 12 entities.
• Research and correct account discrepancies.
• Process a high volume of manual AP invoices, averaging 150+ invoices per day.
• Create lien waivers.
• Receive and code all invoices, process payments, and handle payments as needed.
• Post AP reconciliations as required.
• Manage and post bank reconciliations.
• Analyze and handle payable accounts and variances.
• Communicate directly with property managers regarding discrepancies.
• Support month, quarter, and year-end activities as needed.
• Audit escrows with property managers.
• Maintain GAAP standards.
• Complete ad-hoc projects as necessary.
