If you’re looking to actively contribute to the transformation of a fast-growing company, we’re seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will report to the Senior Accountant for operational accounting matters and will be primarily responsible for ensuring timely payments to our vendors and closely tracking the approval process. You will collaborate closely with various internal departments as part of continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable
• DEC in Accounting (or equivalent diploma)
• Fully bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, to support our operations and clients across Canada
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience processing payments via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Organized, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Autonomous, proactive, and a strong self-starter

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Microsoft GP is an asset

Responsibilities

• Manage bi-weekly electronic vendor payments
• Prepare cheque payments
• Respond to internal and external inquiries, reconcile statements, and resolve outstanding accounts payable balances
• Review and audit corporate Visa expense reports and perform monthly reconciliations
• Maintain up-to-date vendor records and banking information
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
• Participate in the implementation of various automation projects aimed at optimizing the efficiency of the role
