About The Position

The Accounts Payable Specialist reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services. This includes ability to maintain moderately complex and automated accounting records in an orderly and accurate manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred Accounting or Business preferred or required years of experience in related field.
• One year of accounting experience required.
• Basic accounting knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of computerized accounts payable and purchasing systems required.
• Ability to type with speed and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain moderately complex and automated accounting records in an orderly and accurate manner.
• Ability to work accurately, timely, and meeting stringent deadlines.
• Ability to make accurate mathematical calculations.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and telephone etiquette skills required.
• Must be able to work independently, self-directed, and to handle multiple tasks.
• Software skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
