We are hiring an Accounts Payable Manager to support rapid growth and to be a critical member of the Finance team. The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for leading the global Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements while maintaining strict internal controls in a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliant environment. This role oversees a team of Accounts Payable professionals and partners closely with Procurement, Tax, and External Auditors.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of work experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP
  • Prior experience in a publicly traded company with SOX 404 compliance (semiconductor, technology, or manufacturing industry strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Oracle Fusion is a must)
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills with experience leading global or multi-site teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, payment runs (ACH and wire), and T&E reimbursement via Oracle (or similar)
  • Ensure a high degree of compliance with SOX 404 controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., 1099 reporting, and sales/use tax).
  • Manage weekly global payment cycles and optimize working capital
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to AP sub-ledger, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Develop, document, and maintain AP policies, procedures, and desktop manuals;
  • Drive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives (Oracle IDR Intelligent Document Reader).
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing AP team; and conduct performance reviews.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors (Big 4) and internal audit teams during SOX testing and quarterly reviews
  • Prepare and analyze AP aging, DPO, and A/P forecasting
