The Accounts Payable Manager oversees the Accounts Payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while leading process improvements and vendor relationship management.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years Accounts Payable management experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Proven track record of leading teams in fast faced environment

Understanding of financial management principles
Familiarity with travel and expense management systems
Experienced in converting a decentralized to a centralized team.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development.
Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while resolving discrepancies and issues as they arise.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to optimize payment processes and negotiate favorable terms.
Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable, providing insights to senior management for decision-making.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the accounts payable function.
ensure we have in place or develop the proper tools and metrics to measure individual and team performance
Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and finance, to ensure alignment and compliance with organizational goals.
