The Accounts Payable Manager oversees the Accounts Payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while leading process improvements and vendor relationship management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years Accounts Payable management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while resolving discrepancies and issues as they arise.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to optimize payment processes and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable, providing insights to senior management for decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the accounts payable function.
  • ensure we have in place or develop the proper tools and metrics to measure individual and team performance
  • Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and finance, to ensure alignment and compliance with organizational goals.
