About The Position

A well-established, growth-oriented organization is seeking a proactive Accounts Payable Manager to lead our financial disbursements team. We are looking for a process-driven leader who excels at managing high-volume operations while maintaining rigorous internal controls. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Technical Savvy: Expert-level proficiency in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of GAAP and full-cycle AP workflows.
  • Communication: Proven ability to manage cross-functional relationships with procurement and department heads.

  • Background in complex supply chain or inventory-heavy sectors.
  • Proven track record of migrating manual processes to automated AP solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Direct daily AP functions, including multi-channel invoice processing, strategic payment cycles, and global vendor relations.
  • Team Development: Supervise and coach a dedicated AP team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth.
  • Financial Integrity: Oversee the verification of expense reports and payment requests; manage sub-ledger reconciliations and provide essential support for month-end closing.
  • Reporting & Strategy: Track and report on key AP performance metrics and cash flow requirements to support senior finance leadership.
  • Compliance & Controls: Enforce adherence to standard accounting principles (GAAP), internal audit requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing workflows to identify "bottlenecks" and implement automation or process enhancements.
