Accounts Payable Coordinator

About The Position

Hello! We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the team! Del Real Foods is a traditional Mexican food manufacturer born out of a family farm. Today, Del Real Food makes tamales, carnitas, salsas, and other recipes inspired by the Cardenas' native Jalisco -- all created by hand with fresh ingredients and nothing artificial. Under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the employee performs a full range of accounts payable using supervisor or other higher-level management as guidance to perform daily assigned tasks. This role is responsible for all duties associated with accounts payable processing with strict adherence to accounts payable policies and procedures and to ensure accurate and timely payments.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Must have proficient skills in written and oral communications.
Minimum 1 year experience on the field

Nice To Haves

BA degree in Accounting/Finance preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

Match vendor invoice with corresponding receipt and accurately input in ERP system.
Identify discrepancies in invoices/receiving docs and route to appropriate party for correction.
Print and distribute all accounts payable checks.
Research and resolve all problems associated with invoices and payments including internal and external inquiries.
Review vendor statements and requests missing invoices as necessary.
Process employees expense reports and issues payment accordingly.
Monitor and respond to the accounts payable inbox.
Assist with month-end closing tasks.
Account analysis and reconciliation.
Participate in proactive efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Special projects as required.
