About The Position

This is a contract role designed to cover a maternity leave. The contract spans four months, with the possibility of transitioning to a different team, such as accounts payable or payroll, contingent upon performance. Training will be provided before the leave period begins.

Requirements

  • Accounts payable experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with SAP and ERP systems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Understanding of three-way matching and purchase orders.
  • Professional corporate or office experience.

  • Basic understanding of accounting general knowledge.
  • Experience in invoice processing, invoicing, data entry, reconciliation, and clerical tasks.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and focus under pressure.

  • Entry-level or recent college graduates are welcome.
  • Accounting or finance experience is a plus.
  • Professionalism and maturity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned queue to ensure timely processing of vendor invoices.
  • Process a high volume of workflows accurately.
  • Review vendor invoices for links to purchase orders.
  • Ensure three-way match reconciliation of purchase order, goods receipt, and invoice is complete.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Follow processes, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to increase efficiencies in the department.
  • Ensure reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Complete goods receipts and work with the procurement department.
