Requirements

Previous experience with Accounts Payable and/or Accounting required
Ability to provide quality customer service
Willingness to take initiative
Quality writing and grammar skills
Computer literacy
Ability to perform job responsibilities and meet deadlines easily
Detailed follow up
Professional appearance
Must be a self starter with the ability to work independently but know when to ask for help
Being proactive in your job responsibilities, career, business growth

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with Reynolds and Reynolds Accounting System a plus

Responsibilities

Receive and process invoices using correct ledger accounts and department codes; verify payment approvals from department managers
Prepare payable checks timely; maintain accounts payable files in an organized manner
Effectively present information to vendors or dealership personnel.
Work under pressure in a fast paced, high volume atmosphere.
Backup coverage for Cashier and Receptionist
Perform various other accounting responsibilities and business requirements as assigned.
Receipt A/R payments and prepare the daily deposit, send out monthly A/R statements.
Work with the Service and Parts managers to collect outstanding receivables.
Work with the cashiers to be sure the daily deposit balances
