About The Position

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable [Accounting Associate] to join our growing Hub community and support the core insurance accounting operations that keep our business running. When you apply, your application will be considered across several Insurance Accounting teams, including Direct Bill, Premium Payables, Cash Application, and Accounts Payable. Each team plays a critical role in ensuring transactions are processed accurately, on time, and in line with established procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, resolving inquiries, ensuring timely payments, and is looking to grow their career in accounting or finance within a collaborative, supportive hub environment.

Requirements

  • Interest in building a long‑term career in accounting, finance, or insurance operations, with a strong service‑oriented mindset.
  • Experience in banking, finance, billing, accounting, customer servicing, or administrative environments is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education or coursework in accounting, finance, or business is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a transactional, process‑driven environment.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Curiosity, accountability, and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and confidence using technology to stay organized.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support assigned workflows within the insurance accounting transactional cycle, ensuring work is completed on time and properly documented.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records while developing an understanding of how transactions move through different accounting functions.
  • Collaborate closely with teammates, sharing knowledge and supporting one another to meet team goals.
  • Respond to routine inquiries and research basic discrepancies with guidance from the team.
  • Use internal systems and tools to complete tasks, track work, and communicate effectively.
  • Provide coverage and support across teams as needed and complete other related duties as assigned.
