About The Position

Doyle Auctioneers & Appraisers is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Analyst to join our New York team. Doyle is a respected auction house with a long-standing presence in the fine art and collectibles market, known for its expertise and collaborative culture. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build experience in finance and accounting. The position supports vendor remittances, customer payables, and auction-related administrative operations, while providing hands-on exposure to a range of accounting and operational functions in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
  • Foundational knowledge of general ledger coding and accounts payable processes
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and navigate multiple database systems

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship or experience in Accounts Payable or accounting support is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process billing, remittances, and maintain organized and accurate filing systems
  • Provide support for internal and external audit activities, including document preparation and reconciliation
  • Review and verify payments against source documentation, invoices, and Positive Pay records
  • Assist in managing consignor accounts payable, including processing payments via check and bank transfer
  • Maintain company vehicle records, including registrations, insurance documentation, and related compliance items
  • Support sale-day operations, including online bid clerking, equipment setup, and phone bidding coordination
  • Assist with licensing and regulatory requirements across multiple office locations
  • Perform data entry, processing, and support basic financial analysis and reporting
