About This Role As a Procurement and Payables Analyst at Varda, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our procurement processes and accounts payable functions. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient purchasing and payment operations, supporting our mission to innovate and scale our space manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, accounts payable, or related financial operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and maintain strong relationships.
  • Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Analyze procurement and payables data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement and payables performance for management review.
  • Work closely with finance, engineering, and supply chain teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Support financial planning and budgeting processes related to procurement and payables.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in procurement and payables activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for audit purposes.
