About The Position

The Accounts Payable Administrative Clerk is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Accounts Payable function. This role assists with review of documents received through the data capture portal, vendor file maintenance, data entry, document management, and general departmental support to help ensure accurate, timely, and controlled payment of vendor obligations. An attention to detail as well as the ability to perform multiple tasks is essential to this position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • 1-2 years of clerical or accounts payable experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external contacts
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic understanding of accounts payable processes
  • Ability to work with invoices, numbers, and financial documents
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., AX, D365) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with review of documents received through EDC
  • Index AP invoice batches as needed.
  • Assist in reviewing vendor statements monthly.
  • Reconcile PNC credit cards to backup and post in AX.
  • Maintain vendor master files in company ERP system.
  • Respond to basic vendor inquiries
  • Other administrative tasks as needed
