About The Position

Leviton Law Firm is seeking an Accounting, Treasury & HR Administrator as we continue to grow our team! This role is responsible for overseeing the firm’s day-to-day accounting, treasury, payroll, and human resources functions. This position ensures accurate financial recordkeeping, timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, payments, and tax preparation support.

Requirements

  • Hybrid position – must be in office 2-3 days per week.
  • Familiarity with accounting software QuickBooks and comfortable with learning & understanding various ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in dealing with sensitive employee and financial information.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of combined accounting and HR experience; collection industry or law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Process invoices, handle payment tracking, and ensure all bills are paid on time.
  • Assist with preparing documents and financial records required for tax filings.
  • Manage the firm's client trust accounts in compliance with IOLTA regulations/Illinois Rule of Professional Conduct 1.15
  • Monitor daily cash positions across operating and trust accounts and maintain relationships with banks and payment processors.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including deductions, benefits, and taxes.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and handling the onboarding of new employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all HR documents are compliant with labor laws and company policies.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related matters, handling concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including labor laws, workplace safety standards, and anti-discrimination policies.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of employee training, professional development programs, and performance reviews.
