Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the construction industry is considered a strong asset.
• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure appropriate supporting documentation is received.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Project Controllers, and Project Managers to resolve invoice issues.
• Prepare customer invoices, progress billings, and credit memos as required.
• Apply customer payments and assist with monitoring outstanding receivables.
• Process journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Maintain project cost records and ensure transactions are coded correctly.
• Support Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting by providing accurate accounting information.
• Maintain organized electronic documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
