About The Position
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician, Reconciliations, on a permanent basis for our Local Co-op Financial Services and Systems team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment and is eager to contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma and one introductory accounting course from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Individuals who have a high school diploma and one year of relevant accounting experience will also be considered.

- Detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate general ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations in accordance with established deadlines.
- Prepare journal entries and year end working paper files.
- Draft clear and professional communications to local Co-ops regarding reconciliation details and follow-ups.
- Maintain organized departmental files and perform regular bank account reconciliations.
- Other duties as required.
