About The Position

Reporting to the Fixed Asset Manager, the Technician plays a key role in the accurate tracking, capitalization, and reconciliation of fixed assets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with financial systems and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • DEC in Accounting
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in accounting
  • Excellent proficiency in Office suite (Excel and Outlook)
  • Be thorough, autonomous and proactive
  • Ability to manage priorities while respecting deadlines
  • Bilingualism required (Advanced French and English) both spoken and written, as the person will be required to work and communicate regularly in English while performing the tasks outlined above. Specifically, the role requires collaboration with global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure capital invoices comply with company policy.
  • Perform inventory reconciliations.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
