Requirements

Rigor, organizational skills, and attention to detail in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Strong analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to connect information from various sources
Autonomy and sound professional judgment
Strong technical skills, particularly in Excel (intermediate level), and an interest in technology and artificial intelligence tools
3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, complex billing, or financial operations (DEC in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent)
Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information, with sensitivity to compensation-related matters
Strong proficiency in French (spoken and written), as this role requires communicating, producing documentation, and collaborating primarily in French on a daily basis

Knowledge of group savings and group insurance

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, reinsurance statements, and various invoices
Calculate and process bonus payments for group insurance brokers
Participate in month-end and year-end activities and ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day accounting operations
Perform accounting and financial analyses to support results interpretation
Calculate and process commissions paid to group insurance brokers on a quarterly basis
Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation, leveraging technologies, and experimenting with artificial intelligence tools
Participate in cross-functional team projects aimed at optimizing processes and ways of working
Gradually develop more advanced financial analyses based on your interests and strengths
