About The Position

We are seeking a highly strategic, results-driven Director to join the North America (NA) Visa Direct FP&A Team. This role will lead end-to-end financial planning and analysis (end to end, full P&L), including performance diagnostics, budgeting, forecasting, multi-year strategic planning, and executive-level reporting. The Director will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy by synthesizing complex data into actionable insights and presenting clear, compelling recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders. This role is closely aligned with Visa Direct’s growth strategy, including diversification of use cases, expansion of cross-border capabilities, and scaling of new and existing programs. As the business continues to grow, this role will lead forecasting and analytics efforts across a broad and expanding set of stakeholders, including Product, Account Management, Sales, and other cross-functional teams supporting NA Visa Direct. The Director will also play a key role in shaping program-level reporting, improving visibility into cross-border performance, and driving consistency across new and evolving business models. This position is responsible for driving financial rigor, accuracy, and transparency across planning and reporting processes, while serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders. The role will report to the NA CMS FP&A Head and is expected to elevate forecasting precision, enhance driver-based modeling, and support the continued expansion of a critical pillar within Visa’s Commercial Solution business.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end financial planning processes, including performance diagnostics, budgeting, forecasting, multi-year strategic outlook, and executive reporting
  • End to End ownership from Drivers to Opex for NA Visa Direct
  • Provide deep analytical insight into monthly and quarterly results, identifying key drivers, variances, and trends, and delivering clear recommendations to senior leadership
  • Own and evolve driver-based forecasting models, incorporating seasonality (including ATS), and enhancing methodologies to improve forecast accuracy and scalability
  • Drive reporting transformation, including enabling client-level revenue reporting and supporting global initiatives to modernize billing and data infrastructure
  • Partner with FVO initiatives to advance the Visa Direct finance transformation
  • Integrate finance more deeply into business operations by proactively partnering with cross-functional leaders and embedding in key decision-making forums
  • Collaborate across Product, Sales, Account Management, and Partnerships to align forecasts with business strategy, operating models, and growth plans for NA Visa Direct
  • Deliver strategic insights across key use cases to inform investment decisions, growth strategies, and execution priorities
  • Identify and drive process and operational improvements, leveraging automation and analytics to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and executive leadership, fostering strong partnerships and enabling data-driven decision-making across NA Visa Direct
