About The Position

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Accounting Systems & Consolidation Coordinator. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
4 years progressively responsible experience performing double-entry computerized accounting work
One year of related training experience
Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

Plans, analyzes, coordinates, and evaluates the consolidation of ARC Command financial statements in accordance with Territorial Headquarters requirements and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) standards.
Develops and implements processes and procedures at both the ARC Command and field levels to support financial consolidation and regulatory compliance.
Oversees fiscal year opening and closing activities.
Develop comprehensive training materials and coordinates and conducts training sessions to promote accurate, consistent, and effective use of all assigned accounting systems.
Plans, coordinates, and oversees the year-end consolidation of all ARC Command units to produce accurate and timely Command-wide and individual unit financial statements.
Serves as the primary liaison between Command Finance, Command Director of Field Accounting, and the Regional Accounting Services Specialists; oversees user access to Command-wide accounting systems; and coordinates requests to add or remove bank accounts within the accounting database.
