The work of this class involves no supervisory responsibilities. Incumbents receive moderate supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. Work is performed in an office where working conditions are normal. Work requires minimal physical exertion.

Requirements

Education: Have a bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Have five years of experience in performing accounting work.
Equivalency Notes: Have equivalent combination of education and experience including 30 credits in accounting and business law and 6 additional credits in statistics or data processing.
Two years of experience performing accounting systems analysis work may be substituted for the five years of experience in performing accounting work.
