We are seeking a versatile Accounting Supervisor to manage our core day-to-day financial operations. This role is vital for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring strict compliance with federal and local regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will seamlessly bridge corporate general accounting with government contracting compliance.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, finance, business administration, or auditing.
  • 5+ years experience in a professional and high volume environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel (vlookups, pivot tables).
  • Direct experience utilizing specialized government contracting accounting software (e.g., Unanet, Deltek Costpoint).
  • Solid understanding of DCAA compliance standards, FAR Part 31 cost principles, and timekeeping audit-readiness.
  • Proven experience managing general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll cycles.
  • Foundational knowledge of multistate sales, use, and local indirect tax compliance.
  • Practical understanding of indirect rate structures (fringe, overhead, G&A) and how costs are pool-allocated.
  • Experience compiling documentation and schedules for external CPA or DCAA audit requests.
  • Experience processing multi-state payroll through modern platforms integrated with corporate timekeeping.
  • Accounts payable batches and accounts receivable billing elements are processed on schedule with zero recurring compliance errors.
  • Audit support packages are complete, clearly organized, readily traceable to supporting records, and delivered before external review deadlines.
