About The Position

The candidate will assist the Director of Finance, Controller, Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting Manager to help oversee daily accounting operations focusing on timeliness and accuracy of information reported to the property Executive Management Team and Corporate Office.

Requirements

Good oral and communication skills
Proficient computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
Good telephone etiquette
Accounting degree or equivalent combination of related work experience within the hospitality industry and education.
Previous resort/hotel experience with computerized accounting systems.
Proficient PC skills particularly with spreadsheet software (Excel) and Property Management System

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a customer service position preferred

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, etc.
Must have the ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations.
