About The Position
The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. This role ensures that financial records are accurate, reports are completed on time, and accounting procedures follow company policies and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and leadership skills
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with hotel or hospitality accounting (if applicable)
- Experience with payroll and general ledger systems
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily work of accounting staff
- Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and account reconciliations
- Ensure monthly and year-end closings are completed accurately and on time
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Support audits by preparing required documentation
