Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
  • Client-facing experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • CPA, EA, or equivalent certification

Responsibilities

  • Assign, review, and coordinate work among staff members
  • Train, mentor, and develop accounting professionals
  • Conduct meaningful performance reviews and coaching discussions
  • Lead team projects involving multiple staff members
  • Promote collaboration, engagement, and professional growth
  • Help build a high-performing and inclusive team culture
  • Coordinate all phases of client engagements
  • Assist with planning, staffing, scheduling, and project execution
  • Lead and complete assigned accounting, tax, audit, review, and compilation engagements
  • Review financial statements, schedules, tax returns, and client deliverables
  • Discuss accounting and financial matters directly with clients
  • Develop strong working relationships with healthcare practice owners and administrators
  • Evaluate financial processes and internal controls
  • Identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement
  • Help clients address accounting and business challenges
  • Provide proactive guidance and support throughout the year
  • Review accounting records and supporting schedules
  • Assist with budgeting, workflow management, and engagement monitoring
  • Support monthly billing processes
  • Ensure quality standards and deadlines are consistently achieved
  • Maintain compliance with firm and professional standards
