Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a major in accounting or finance.
  • 4 plus years of related work experience, as well as the ability to work independently with technical competence in accounting
  • A demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, prioritize and focus under deadlines.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technology skills, including MS Office Suite, are essential
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a professional services firm is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial statement analysis
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee billing process and reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting
  • Analyze financial statements to suggest improvements to workflow and cash flow
  • Prepare budgets for business owners
  • Review client financials
  • Review year-end financials for the tax team
  • Manage client ADP payroll
  • Manage sales tax compliance
  • Support and enhance internal business unit and firm operations by acquiring knowledge of firm operations and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in and/or manage internal projects
  • Proactively maintain and expand knowledge base in areas of responsibility. Integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and share with colleagues, as appropriate
