About The Position

The Accounting Specialist position at JBS USA in Greeley, CO Beef Plant is a full-time, non-exempt role on the A Shift (1st shift). This position is responsible for delivering timely and accurate reports, processing cattle lots upon arrival, verifying lot details, working with the Harvest Floor scaler, and maintaining SOX compliance. The role also involves assisting the Accounting Supervisor with livestock reporting. Systems used daily include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, CPS, and a 10-key calculator. General computer knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to multi-task are required.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Minimum of 2 years accounting educational experience, or 3 years professional experience.
• Microsoft Office proficient; Microsoft Excel knowledge mandatory
• Some Weekend availability may be required
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Consistently delivers timely and accurate reports, and information as needed
• Process cattle lots as they arrive on site
• Verify lot details for accuracy
• Work with Harvest Floor scaler to move drives as necessary
• Maintain SOX compliance when handling and storing lot details
• Assist Accounting Supervisor with livestock reporting
