The Accounting Specialist supports daily financial operations by handling basic accounting tasks, maintaining records, and assisting with transactions. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ year of bookkeeping, accounting, or office experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and data entry skills
- Organization and time management
- Communication skills
- Reliability and willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors, associate degree, certification, or relevant experience preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts is a plus
- Familiarity with Excel and/or accounting software preferred
- Netsuite or similar accounting software experience
- Experience with invoicing or payroll
- Bookkeeping or accounting certificate
Responsibilities
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Enter and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems
- Reconcile bank statements and daily cash transactions
- Organize and maintain financial records and files
- Help identify and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding billing and payments
- Support month-end closing activities
