About The Position

Meridian Group International, is a global organization with an annual revenue of $500 million to $1 billion based in Deerfield Il. We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist with 2-3 years of experience with strong technical, analytical, and communication skills. This position is responsible for generating customer invoices, applying cash receipts, and accounts payable.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with accounts payable and receivable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail- oriented, able to handle multiple tasks and work within deadlines
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Generate customer invoices based on sales orders, contracts, or services
  • Process credit memos or adjustments as needed
  • Record and post customer payments
  • Prepare and reconcile daily cash reports
  • Prepare checks to send to vendors
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
