About The Position
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with strong QuickBooks Desktop expertise to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and support our accounting operations during a period of business growth and system transition.
Requirements
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Desktop (required)
- Strong background in AP, account reconciliations, and financial accuracy
- Experience reconciling merchant accounts and credit card activity
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, stay on task, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume Accounts Payable (AP) processing
- Reconcile credit card transactions and merchant accounts to bank activity
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation
- Assist with process improvements as we prepare to transition away from QuickBooks in the next 6 months
